Therapists' Congress

On November 21-23, 2018, in Moscow, at the International Exhibition Center «Crocus Expo», the XIII National Congress of Therapists was held  -  the main annual event of the Russian Scientific Medical Society of Therapists.

The Congress aims to provide practical assistance to physicians-therapists in treating the most common human diseases by offering the latest information on therapeutic approaches.

The Congress program covers the widest possible range of issues concerning the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of internal diseases.

Over the three days, the Congress attracted over 6 000 healthcare specialists. An accompanying exhibition showcased the latest achievements in drug development and production, diagnostic and treatment equipment, consumables, and medical literature, featuring over 50 companies.

JSC Avexima was an official partner of the XIII National Congress of Therapists, where the company showcased its portfolio of modern, in-house developed medicines.

A particular interest from the Congress participants was shown to the new antiviral drug – NOBAZIT.

NOBAZIT is a new Russian drug for the treatment of influenza and ARVI with a complex mechanism of action, giving it a competitive advantage. Dr. Georgy Vikulov, Director of the Scientific Information Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Viral Infections, delivered a presentation at the symposium «Complex Issues of Differential Diagnosis and Treatment» on November 22. His presentation, titled «New and Re-emerging Respiratory Viral Infections: Diagnostic and Treatment Algorithms», highlighted new approaches to the diagnosis and therapy of influenza and ARVI and showcased the key properties and benefits of NOBAZIT, sparking significant interest among attendees.
