JSC Avexima sponsored the 6th All-Russian «PARAFEST» Festival
From September 14 to 17, the All-Russian Festival of Creativity for People with Disabilities «PARAFEST. Golden Autumn in Sokolniki» and the International Exhibition «Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment» were held in Sokolniki Park.
JSC Avexima supported the festival as one of the event's sponsors. The festival was also supported by Gosha Kutsenko and his foundation «Step Together», Oksana Pushkina, the magazine «Life with Cerebral Palsy», the Planeta.ru project, the Exler.ru website, and the Moscow Paralympic Committee. In addition to the major sponsors, an additional 700 individuals who believed in the festival's cause made contributions of all sizes. Together, we helped make this unique event happen.
This year «PARAFEST» set a new record for both the number of participants and their geographical diversity. Dance and vocal groups, singers, poets, artists, photographers, and masters of decorative and applied arts from Moscow, Zhukovsky, Dubna, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Yegoryevsk, Saratov, Tambov, Vologda, Novocherkassk, Kurgan, Khabarovsk, Tatarstan, and the Arkhangelsk and Smolensk regions took part.
The 4-hour digital exhibition of works by writers, artists, photographers, and decorative arts masters also set a new record. This success was largely made possible by the participation of the informal international internet community of artists and writers, «Grani Preodoleniya» (Facets of Overcoming).
The festival was supported by professional artists Eteri Beriashvili, Tatyana Morozova, Pavel Bykov, Boris Osokin, Igor Kasyanov, Krista, Dmitri Romanenko, Kristina Kochmarik, Alexey Goryanov, Max Nikolsky, Mark Rozin, Letta, Denis Varfolomeev, Natalia Neith, the ensemble «Dubravushka», and the group COOLON, all of whom performed pro bono. Guests from Italy, opera artists Ettore Saliucci and Olga Balashova-Lehman, came to the festival.
