From Recovery Plans to Establishing High-Tech Production

New production facilities of JSC Anzhero-Sudzhensk Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant were inaugurated on December 19, 2014, in Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Kemerovo Region. The event was held under the slogan «Anzhero-Sudzhensk Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant: from a plant recovery plan to establishing a modern, high-tech pharmaceutical production».

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Administration of the Kemerovo Region, the Administration of the city of Anzhero-Sudzhensk, the Kuzbass Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kemerovo Region Office of Roszdravnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare), the companies JSC Avexima, LLC FC Grand Capital, JSC Holding Company Maxlevel, and the pharmaceutical plants JSC Irbit Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant and JSC Organika, as well as employees of the enterprise.

Between 2012 and 2014, JSC Avexima invested over 300 million rubles in the development and modernization of the enterprise. Over the three years, the project included a large-scale reconstruction of the existing infusion solutions production, the construction of new workshops for solid dosage forms, and the establishment of a new production unit for the chemical synthesis of pharmaceutical substances. In her welcoming speech, N.V. Tkachenko, General Director of JSC Avexima, thanked the attending guests and the plant's staff for their joint work and expressed confidence that the plant would successfully cope with the vital task of providing the population of our country with high-quality and modern medicines.

D.G. Sosnovskikh, General Director of JSC Anzhero-Sudzhensk Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant, provided a detailed account of the enterprise's history, its stages of formation and development from the evacuation of the Moscow Semashko Plant to Anzhero-Sudzhensk in 1942 to the present day. Guests of the plant were given a tour of the operational production lines for infusion solutions, solid dosage drugs, and pharmaceutical substances.

Today, the plant is a complex of modern production facilities constructed in compliance with international GMP standards, equipped with modern equipment from leading domestic and foreign manufacturers. The technical modernization carried out at the enterprise has enabled a significant expansion of production capacities. The plant's plans include increasing the range of manufactured products, thereby supporting the import substitution initiative for medicines and pharmaceutical substances outlined by the President of the Russian Federation, V.V. Putin.
