The expert selection was conducted by the operator of state development programs in the field of science and higher education of the Russian Federation — the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution «Sociocentre», with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Alfiya Gabidova will provide expert assessment of healthcare solutions, while Anna Karutina will focus on creative industries. Company representatives noted that the program is of critical importance for the socio-economic development of the country and for enhancing the prestige of higher education.
«Project evaluation is an opportunity to identify the most promising ideas that can be implemented into real-world practice. I am confident that university developments will improve the quality of Russian healthcare, increase the efficacy and accessibility of treatment for many diseases, and also contribute to the advancement of a personalized approach in therapy», commented Alfiya Gabidova.
«Creative industries act as one of the drivers of the Russian economy. My task is to assess how well university initiatives correspond to actual market demands. Supporting promising projects under the program will help elevate domestic creative industries to a new level», commented Anna Karutina.
«Priority-2030» has been implemented since 2021 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Organizational, technical, informational, methodological, and expert-analytical support for the program is provided by «Sociocentre». The main objective is to concentrate resources to ensure the contribution of Russian universities to achieving the national development goals of the country by 2030. The initiative is also aimed at enhancing the scientific and educational potential of universities and research institutions. Furthermore, the implemented measures address the issue of higher education institutions’ engagement in the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of Russia. Currently, more than 100 universities are participants of the program. The experts' tasks include evaluating the projects submitted by universities in terms of their ambition, feasibility, and resource availability.
