Avexima Improves New Employee Onboarding Results
Avexima presented the results of its new employee onboarding program, «The First 90 Days Decide Everything», at the All-Russian HR Forum «Personnel Expo 2026», held on September 7–8 in Moscow. Deputy General Director for HR of JSC Avexima Yuri Mishakov spoke about the key changes in HR work in his presentation.
According to the speaker, the launch of the project was preceded by extensive analytical work to study employee opinions on completing the probation period. To make this stage as comfortable and clear as possible, an individual 90-day work plan with reminders about checkpoints is created for each newcomer on the corporate portal. Reference materials and useful contacts on the portal help new employees settle in faster. In addition, HR specialists hold interim meetings with the newcomer and their manager in order to identify emerging difficulties in a timely manner and, if necessary, adjust the onboarding plan.
«Even an experienced employee needs time to understand the processes, rules, and expectations of a particular company. Therefore, the first 90 days should become a clear route for the employee, their manager, and HR», noted Yuri Mishakov.
The implementation of the program enabled the company to reduce turnover among new hires by almost a factor of three. According to the results of internal surveys in 2026, 57 out of 58 new employees reported regular meetings with their manager, 52 employees said they received timely feedback, and 55 noted active assistance from colleagues.
Avexima emphasizes that work on the onboarding system continues. The plans include further improvement of processes, collecting feedback, and developing tools that help specialists get up to speed faster.
«Our task is to make the first months of work clear and manageable, so that a new employee can achieve independent results as quickly as possible and make an informed decision to continue working at the company», — said Yuri Mishakov.
